First and foremost, you do NOT have to be a pro motorsports photographer to apply. We're looking for candidates with skills behind the lens. Our goal is to capture the vibe of the event and not just the cars (though we want some of those too obvi). Hanging out in the pits, staff setting up the track, drivers prepping their cars, helmet hair, you name it.
*Your application does not guarantee a media pass.
In exchange for your Media Pass, you'll be required to share links or send files of all of your event-related media. Drift Lot may use your images or videos to promote future events on social media. We will always credit your work.
All media will be required to attend driver's meetings. We will have additional safety instructions after each meeting for you special folks.
For your own safety, we require that you wear hi-vis vests or tops and closed-toe shoes.
We will have designated areas marked out for you on-track. If the track is hot, you must remain in these areas at all times. If you are unsure of where you're allowed to be, just ask!
You can only leave the designated track areas when the track is cold (ie. cars are not sliding past you.) If you need to leave a designated area when the track is hot, you MUST flag down a staff member to halt drifting so you can cross.
We think this is obvious, but it must be said. There is zero tolerance for alcohol.
If you run across the track while it's hot, fail to follow the Drift Lot rules or ignore instructions from Drift Lot staff, you will be immediately blasted from the event and potentially all future Drift Lot sessions. Please don't make us do that.
Everyone at a Drift Lot event must sign a release and waiver form. We will only have one waiver for all elements, which must be signed when you check in. At this time, all event participants must be at least 18 or older. Keep an eye out as this may change in the near future.
